EJMI heating cable is a special heating cable with stainless steel (red copper) as outer sheath, electric heating material as heating element, and magnesium oxide powder as insulation. The calorific value of EJMI heating cable is related to the working voltage, heating core wire and cable length.

1.Are you factory?

2.What is trace heating used for ?
Trace heating can be used to protect pipes and vessels from freezing by maintaining the temperature at a certain level above freezing point. This is done by supplying heat energy to balance the amount of heat lost through conduction.

3.Can you put heat trace on PVC pipe ?
PVC pipe is dense thermal insulation. PVC pipe is usually rated as being able to withstand temperatures between 140 to 160°F. The trick is to insure the heat trace cable will maintain the contents within the PVC pipe at a desired temperature, but never to approach the pipe rating temperature.

4.Can heat trace touch itself?
CAUTION: For series constant-watt trace heaters (HTEK, TEK, TESH), do not allow the heating portion of the trace heater to touch, cross over, or overlap itself.
