Electric heater internal fault solution and heating method

The burnout of the electric heater and the short-circuit of the internal system of the heater are also common faults. Once the internal system has a short-circuit fault, if it is not eliminated in time, the internal system cannot guarantee the quality and use of the pigment products, and it will cost the manufacturers and suppliers. Reasons for the internal failure of the electric heater:

On the packaging machine of heater products, the contacts of the temperature control instrument generally control the on-off of the AC power inside the heater. When the heater temperature is lower than the set temperature, the contacts of the temperature control instrument in the heater are connected, and the heater temperature rises. When the temperature of the electric heater is higher than the set temperature, the contacts of the temperature control instrument in the heater are disconnected, and the temperature of the heater drops.

The contacts of the temperature control instrument in the heater are on and off to ensure that the heater works within a certain temperature range. Once the product is blown out, the operator cannot judge whether the heater is powered off normally due to the temperature rise or the heater is powered off due to the heater disconnection fault. Due to the thermal inertia of the heater, the temperature inside the electric heater needs to be delayed for a period of time before it drops, so when the operator finds that the product is unqualified, hundreds of products have been wasted and the quality of the product is affected. The electric heater disconnection detection device shall be able to automatically identify the heater disconnection and heater disconnection failure due to temperature rise.

Heating method of electric heater:

1. Resistance heating: This mainly uses the Joule effect of current to convert electrical energy into thermal energy to heat objects. Since the object to be heated and the heating element are divided into two parts, the types of objects to be heated are generally not limited and the operation is simple.

2. Induction heating: It uses the thermal effect formed by the induction current (eddy current) generated by the conductor in the alternating electromagnetic field to make the conductor itself heat up. This heating feature can uniformly heat the object as a whole and the surface layer, and can also perform arbitrary local heating.

3. Arc heating: use the high temperature generated by the arc to heat the object. The temperature of the arc column can reach 3000-6000K, which is suitable for high-temperature smelting of metals.

4. Electron beam heating: The surface of the object is bombarded by electrons moving at high speed under the action of an electric field to make it heated.

5. Electric infrared heating: using infrared radiation to radiate objects, after the object absorbs infrared rays, it converts the radiant energy into heat energy and is heated. It has strong penetrating ability and is easy to be absorbed by objects, and the application of infrared heating has developed rapidly.

6. Medium heating: use high frequency electric field to heat insulating materials. It heats fast, has high thermal efficiency, and heats evenly.
